2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed & Revival dates announced
It’s only seems a few weeks since the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival were drawing petrolheads to Sussex for their annual fix of high octane thrills, but now they’re done and dusted for 2013 Lord March has already announced the plans for 2014. The Goodwood Festival of Speed will take place from Friday 27th June to Sunday 29th June with the Moving Motor Show taking place on the Thursday before – 26th June – to complete perhaps the best ‘car’ weekend on the planet. Lord March hasn’t revealed the theme for the 2014 Festival of Speed – although it will be revealed shortly – but you can be sure the Festival will be as action-packed as ever with the best of cars, ancient and modern, thrills and excitement as Goodwood resounds to the sound of the internal combustion engine.

A couple of weeks ago we reported that Horacio Pagani had been talking about the new Pagani C9 to the Argentinian press. The C9, in case you didn’t know, is Pagani’s replacement for the Zonda and is due to be revealed alter this year. The Pagani C9 will feature an all new, Mercedes-built 6.0 litre bi-turbo V12 with 700bhp.
Alfa will be bringing the 170bhp Alfa Romeo MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde to Frankfurt
Alfa Romeo has revealed that they’ll be bringing the MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde (MiTo four leaf clover) to the Frankfurt Motor Show next week, featuring a 170bhp Multiair engine as we reported back in June (goodness, we’re ahead of the game sometimes!). The ‘Quadrifoglio’ bit refers back to Alfa’s racing history, and was the emblem used on those cars and was most recently seen on special editions of the Alf GT and 147. But the biggest news, apart from the extras and the paint job, is the clever Multiair system that Alfa is busy introducing.
